Autumn Sale Report

IMG_0863We celebrated our 10th annual on property Autumn Production Sale yesterday. An even line up of bulls were well received with strong local support, and repeat buyers from East Gippsland and Western District. Top price was $8,500 for Lot 1 Paringa Doc Silver H338 to Robbie Payne of KI for an Angus crossbreeding operation. 37 Charolais bulls averaged $4050. 19 Stabilizer bulls sold to $4000, av. $3275.

The support for Lot73/a cow/calf donated to the Jack Henry Memorial Trust, was evident when active bidding reached $9,000, and it was wonderful having David and Aimee Bolton with us accepting the donation on behalf of the Trust. Cows and calves topped $14,500  (Paringa Rio Bravo B78 sold to Di Monte Charolais) and averaged $4800, while heifers topped $3000 av. $2300. Embryo and Semen lots sold to $1000, av. $630.

We appreciated past purchasers who visited again, successful purchasers and under bidders. Thanks to those who have supported us and helped prepare the cattle, and sale set up. Special mention and thanks to Jim and Jackie of Ascot Charolais Qld, and Damien Baker and Peter Rollason who went above and beyond to help.
